General K-Food & K-Beauty — Standard Korean Export Authenticity Check
Even if a product carries an 880 barcode, always verify that the back label does not state 'Made in P.R.C.' or use Chinese shelf-life characters ('保质期 / 生产日期') while pretending to be Korean on the front.
Nongshim — Nongshim Shin Ramyun / Chapagetti / Neoguri Series
Genuine Nongshim uses Korean prefix 8801043 (Anyang/Anseong/Asan/Gumi/Busan factories) or official US factory UPC prefix 031146 (Rancho Cucamonga, California). Watch out for 690-699 lookalikes with misspelled 'Nongxin' logos.

Genuine Ottogi (rebranded globally as OTOKI) uses GS1 Korea prefix 8801045 and is manufactured in Anyang, Pyeongtaek, or Eumseong, South Korea.
CJ CheilJedang (Bibigo) — Bibigo Seaweed, Mandu, Gotchu & Gochujang Series
Genuine CJ CheilJedang Bibigo Korean exports carry prefix 8801007 (or official CJ Foods USA UPC) and display the official green/white bibigo pot logo.
