Information displayed in Not The K-Company, Not The K-Clinic, and Not The K-Stay is retrieved from official South Korean government OpenAPIs via the Public Data Portal (data.go.kr), including the National Tax Service (NTS), Fair Trade Commission (FTC), Financial Services Commission (FSC), Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA), National Medical Center (NMC), and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
Important Reporting & Sync Lag Notice: Government registry snapshots are provided strictly "AS IS" based on the latest public API response. Administrative updates—such as newly hired specialist physicians, visiting/part-time doctors, recent corporate address changes, or newly issued municipal lodging licenses—typically require 2 to 4 weeks (or monthly batch cycles) to propagate to public government OpenAPIs. A "0" count or "Unfound" status in a government API snapshot does not constitute an accusation of illegality; users must always verify current credentials directly with the relevant provider before making financial, medical, or travel decisions.

Results generated by NotTheK.com—including GS1 barcode prefix checks, packaging checklists, corporate registration lookups, HIRA medical specialist counts, and KTO lodging checks—are for informational reference only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice, legal counsel, or financial escrow assurance.
4. Anti-Abuse Rate Limiting & Acceptable Use
To protect public government API quotas and prevent automated scraping, live registry queries on NotTheK.com are strictly rate-limited to 1 lookup per minute (60 seconds) per IP address. Automated scraping, bulk harvesting, or bypassing rate-limit controls is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent IP blocking.
